Come si fa a fare Audrey?
Sentendomi divisa tra lavorare con i ferri dell'8 (o di taglia ancora superiore) e nel contempo imparare a fare micro pupazzini, ecco che mi scopro a girovagare in rete un'altra volta in cerca di istruzioni che possano illuminarmi una volta per tutte.
Ogni tanto annoiata dal panorama appenninico, sbircio qualche perla "compereccia" qui e come per magia eccomi comparire l'icona del cinema Audrey Hepburn in versione "knitted icon"...cioè pupazzetto di maglia (detto volgarmente).
Non mi rimane dunque che rimandarvi alla vostra buona volontà e suggerirvi di scaricare lo schemino (cliccando qui) che non sembra così astruso.
Secondo voi la vecchia super-stylish Audrey avrebbe apprezzato?

UNRAVEL. Knitwear in fashion
Qualcuno ha tempo di andare ad Anversa a vedere questa mostra e rubare tutto?"From 16 March till 14 August 2011 MoMu presents the exhibition UNRAVEL. Knitwear in fashion.
The upcoming MoMu exhibition will introduce the visitor to a wide variety of exquisite knitted garments and accessories from across the last centuries, with a focus on high fashion pieces and their vernacular interpretations. Top pieces by national and international designers and labels (Ann Salens, Vivienne Westwood, Sonia Rykiel, Missoni) historic couture pieces (Schiaparelli, Patou, Chanel) as well as more avant-garde and cutting edge pieces by established designers and newcomers on the international fashion scene (Sandra Backlund, Maison Martin Margiela, Mark Fast), will sit side by side to reveal the richness and diversity of knitwear in high fashion.
The exhibition will address the important decades of knitwear in fashion, demonstrating knitwear’s popularity both on and off the catwalk, and unravelling the changing status of the relationship between knitwear and fashion.
Thematically, it will showcase the various roles knitwear has played in social and fashion (r)evolutions and will address knitwear’s different and fluid association with comfort, wellbeing and chic.
With ‘Unravel: Knitwear in Fashion’, MoMu and Woolmark proudly present a mix of contemporary and classic knitwear design houses, as well as young designers and historical garments. The exhibition will challenge certain established ideas and show that far from being old-fashioned and dowdy- knitting is highly versatile, luxurious and a continuing source of inspiration for high end fashion.
The exhibition catalogue will be published by the Fashion Museum and Lannoo Publishers (as of March 16th 2011)."

"A group of Guerilla Knitters which I am part of have recently (31 January to be precise) stormed the U1 in Berlin disguised with knitted beards and armed with knitted cozies, to beautify and soften the harsh interior of the everyday world of commuters. After 3 months of preparation with my Stitch N Bitch group, it took us just an hour to install, and the carriage stayed in circulation until around 15:00, when the BVG security unfortunately cut it all to pieces. Despite making those few employees miserable by giving them extra work, I think we cheered up a fair amount of weary travellers on a gloomy January day!"
Un gruppo di Guerrilla-Knitters berlinesi ha rivestito di maglia l'interno di un treno della U1 per combattere le mani fredde e gli umori grigi. Sembra che si siano divertiti molto a montare tutto con le loro finte barbe di lana.

ci dicono come potrebbero spuntare dal cilindro un po' di coniglietti pasqualini!!
Adesso che ho guardato meglio c'è scritto che si devono fare con i ferri a doppie punte (misura 3,5 mm) quindi forse-forse non sono così facili come sembra...Ma chissà se nel gruppo di sferruzzzatrici c'è qualche audace avventuriera!!
